Your passwords are saved strictly on your local hard drive (in your secure user application data folder). PassLocker is a "zero-cloud" application, meaning your credentials are never uploaded to the internet or stored on third-party servers.

Absolutely not. All your data is encrypted locally using military-grade AES-256-GCM encryption before it's saved. Without your master PIN/Password, the data is entirely unreadable, even to us.

Because PassLocker operates 100% offline and we don't store your data, we cannot reset your password or recover your account. Your Master PIN/Password is the only key to decrypt your vault. Please ensure you memorize it or keep a physical copy in a safe place.

To protect your vault from brute-force hacking attempts, PassLocker automatically locks a profile after 5 failed login attempts. The initial lockout lasts for 60 seconds and doubles progressively with each subsequent failed attempt. Simply wait for the timer to expire and try again.
